Colin Rea Wins Rotation Spot

According to Derek Togerson of NBC San Diego, San Diego Padres pitcher Colin Rea has won the 5th rotation spot for the start of the 2016 season.
The #Padres are keeping Colin Rea (5th starter), Ryan Buchter and Josh Martin to finish 25-man roster. They’ll carry 13 pitchers to start.

Rea is a former 12th round pick of the Padres in the 2011 MLB Draft. Last season he made 6 starts with the major club posting a 2-2 record with a 4.26 ERA.
