Rea was a part of the trade with a Miami Marlins at the trade deadline and suffered an injury which in turn sent him back to the Padres. Rea has pitched in 19 games this season starting in 18 of them.
He has an ERA of 4.98 and has struck out 76 batters. With Rea it will be interesting to see how these shots will work or if he will eventually need the surgery.
