Clippers Work Out Tiago Splitter

According to Brad Turner of the Los Angeles Times, the Los Angeles Clippers worked out free agent big man Tiago Splitter.

Keith Smith of RealGM reported that the Philadelphia 76ers rrenounced their rights to the big man.
The Philadelphia 76ers have renounced FA rights for Charles Jenkins, Byron Mullens, Sergio Rodriguez & Tiago Splitter.

Splitter is a former first round pick of the San Antonio Spurs in the 2007 NBA Draft. He spent five years with the Spurs before joining the Atlanta Hawks and 76ers.
Los Angeles is looking for a bigman to backup All-Str DeAndre Jordan next season. The veteran Splitter could be that body. The Clippers also spoke to Golden State Warriors big man JaVale McGee.
