Clippers Woes Continue In New Orleans

The Los Angeles Clippers woes continued as they fell to the New Orleans Pelicans 111-103 on Saturday night. Los Angeles has now lost five in a row.
Blake Griffin led the club in scoring with 26 points, 6 assists, and 4 rebounds. Austin Rivers chipped in 19 points while DeAndre Jordan recorded a double-double with 12 points and 14 rebounds.
Sindarius Thornwell got his first career start and added 7 points. Lou Williams and Jawun Evans each reached double-figures off the bench with 14 and 11 points.
For New Orleans, their two big men controlled the game. DeMarcus Cousins scored a game-high 35 points and grabbed 15 rebounds. Anthony Davis added 25 points and 10 rebounds to go along with 6 assists. E’Twaun Moore chipped in 18 points while the Pelicans shot 54% from the field.
New Orleans controlled the glass grabbing 51 rebounds compared to the Clippers 37. Despite forcing 23 turnovers Los Angeles could not get the job done.
Los Angeles will head back home for a game against the Philadelphia 76ers on Monday night.
