The Los Angeles Clippers and Golden State Warriors battled it out on Christmas night which ended with the Clippers on top 100-86. Jamal Crawford scored 12 of his 24 points in the 4th quarter to lead “Lob City” past the “Splash Brothers”.

Tonight’s loss for the Warriors was their second defeat in three days in the Staples Center. For the Clippers tonight was the first game of a nine game home stand. Blake Griffin scored 18 points and grabbed 15 rebounds for the Clippers tonight, while DeAndre Jordan added a double double with 14 points and 12 rebounds.

Chris Paul scored 22 points and dished 7 assists. For the Warriors, Klay Thompson struggled to shoot the ball. He shot just 6/18 from the field including 2/10 from behind the three-point line. He ended up with 15 points.

Stephen Curry almost recorded a triple double. He scored 14 points, dished 7 assists, and had 9 rebounds. The Warriors struggled from the free throw line, and behind the arch as they shot just 21% from three and 55% from the line.

The big factor in tonight’s game was the Clippers play in the fourth quarter. They outscored the Warriors 27-16 on their way to the 100-86 victory.

The Clippers will continue the home stand on Saturday afternoon when the Toronto Raptors come into town.
