Clippers Trade DeAndre Liggins

According to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.com, the Los Angeles Clippers have traded DeAndre Liggins to the Atlanta Hawks.

Woj reported further information on the news.

Liggins is a former second-round pick of Orlando Magic in the 2011 NBA Draft. He has spent time the Magic, Oklahoma City Thunder, Miami Heat, Cleveland Cavaliers, and Dallas Mavericks throughout his career.

Last season Liggins played in 62 games with the Cavs and Mavs and started in 19 games. He averaged 2.5 points and 1.7 rebounds with the clubs.

Liggins will be waived in order to free up some additional cap space for both teams. This week was Media Day for the NBA including the Los Angeles Clippers.

With a lot of new faces, Doc Rivers and the crew have the same expectations for playoff success.
