Clippers Take On Jazz In First Round
- Updated: April 15, 2017
As the playoffs begin the Los Angeles Clippers will cap off an exciting first day of NBA playoff basketball when they take on the Utah Jazz in the first round.
For NBA junkies like myself we’ve watched LeBron James and Cleveland Cavaliers barely escape game one against Paul George and the Indiana Pacers. Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks took it to Kyle Lowery and Toronto Raptors, and Kawhi Leonard and the Spurs handed Marc Gasol and the Grizzlies pretty easily.
But what can we expect from this series. For Gordon Hayward this will be his first taste of playoff basketball. He is having a career year with averages of 21.9 ppg, 5.4 reb, and 3.5 assists. Will he take that consistency and put into play on the road in Los Angeles or will he get the playoff jitters.
The Clippers have the experience and are healthy… for the most part. Chris Paul, DeAndre Jordan, and Blake Griffin are all playing great basketball winners of their last 7. I expect Paul and Griffin to handle their business tonight and in this series.
Sit back and enjoy the show! Let’s go Clippers! #Ittakeseverything
