- Updated: January 10, 2016
The Los Angeles Clippers will take on the New Orleans Pelicans this afternoon as they go for their 9th straight victory. The Clippers have risen to the occasion without Blake Griffin over the last few weeks and will look to continue that momentum.
New Orleans comes into this game with 11-24 record while Los Angeles is 24-13 this season. The Pelicans have lost four out of their last five games.
Anthony Davis is listed as questionable tonight due to a back injury. He was limited to just three minutes against the Indiana Pacers due to a lower back contusion.
Dante Cunningham moved into the starting lineup after Alonzo Gee has struggled this season. He got the start on Friday night and scored 4 points in 26 minutes.
Tyreke Evans had a strong last time out. He scored 27 points to go along with 5 assists and 7 rebounds. Ryan Anderson has struggled as of late. They will need him to step up if the Pelicans want to have a chance to win.
Davis is averaging 23 points per game on the season to lead the team. Anderson is second on the team with 17 points a night.
Los Angeles beat the Hornets last night 97-83, thanks to DeAndre Jordan and his 19 rebound effort.
