Johnson is a former first round pick int he 2010 NBA draft to the Minnesota Timberwolves. Johnson spent two seasons with the Timberwolves before joining the Phoenix Suns.
He spent a year in Phoenix before joining the Los Angeles Lakers for two season followed by the Clippers last year. With the Clippers last season Johnson played in 80 games starting in 9 of them.
He averaged 6.9 points and 3.1 rebounds per game. It is well documented the Clippers made a run at Kevin Durant but with the re-signing of Johnson and Austin Rivers it looks as if the Clippers are out of the Durant sweepstakes.
Los Angeles made a trade for Jeff Green at the trade deadline to sure up the small forward spot. Green left this offseason to join the Orlando Magic. Johnson should replace Green in the starting lineup next year.
