Clippers Push Win Streak To Three In Row In Washington

The Los Angeles Clippers continued their road trip on Monday night when they took on the Washington Wizards and left victorious with a 108-91 win.

This was the second game that the Clippers would be without Blake Griffin who is dealing with a quad injury. Paul Pierce got the start at the power forward position.

Chris Paul led the way tonight with 23 points, 7 assists, and 5 rebounds. He also had an impressive and one dunk dunk that got the Clippers bench excited.

DeAndre Jordan added a double-double with 15 points and 13 rebounds. Los Angeles got great production from the bench as well. Jamal Crawford scored 21 points while Wesley Johnson and Cole Aldrich chipped in 14 and 13.

Austin Rivers made his return to the lineup and scored 4 points in 19 minutes of action. For the Wizards John Wall had a double-double with 23 points and 11 assists.

Marcin Gortat added a double-double as well with 12 points and 16 rebounds. Otto Porter and Ramon Sessions ended up in double figures as well with 21 and 12 points.

The big difference between the teams tonight was the Wizards inability to stop the Clippers on the defensive side of the basketball. Los Angeles shot 53% from the field and racked up 23 assists. Washington shot just 39% from the field including 29% from three and 67% from the freethrow line.

Up next for the Clippers is the Charlotte Hornets on Wednesday night in Charlotte.
