Clippers Met With Jeff Green

@ClipsNationSBN

According to Brad Turner of the Los Angeles Times, the Los Angeles Clippers met with free agent forward Jeff Green tonight in Miami.

The Clippers acquired Jeff Green at the trade deadline of this year from the Memphis Grizzlies in exchange for a future first round pick. Los Angeles has been searching for a small forward to go alongside their formidable other four players.

Chris Paul, J.J. Redick, DeAndre Jordan, and Blake Griffin have lacked that glue at the three spot. Over the years the club has had Matt Barnes and Luc Mbah a Moute and Green was an upgrade.

With him coming in late in the season he didn’t have tons of time to gel with the group but Doc Rivers is hoping the club can bring him back.

Los Angeles is looking to keep most of their core together and Green looks to be part of that group.
