The Los Angeles Clippers were in Milwaukee tonight as they fell short against the Bucks and lost 111-106. After a nice 9 game winning streak it looks as if Connor Aylward has jinxed the Clippers as tonight’s loss makes it two in a row.
Last night the Clippers fell to the Washington Wizards, as Chris Paul struggled. Tonight, both Blake Griffin and Chris Paul must not be happy with the Midwest weather as they struggled from the field.
Blake Griffin was just 4-12 tonight and ended up with 10 points. He did have 9 assists and grab 6 rebounds in the loss. Chris Paul was just 5-15 as he scored 10 points as well. Paul had 7 assists but 6 turnovers tonight.
On the bright side the Clippers did get great production from their wing players tonight. Matt Barnes scored a season high 26 points knocking down 6 three pointers.
J.J. Redick also shot the ball well. He scored 25 points, knocking down 5 three pointers of his own.
For the Bucks, Giannis Antetokounmpo scored 20 points, and Brandon Knight scored 22 points to lead the way. The Bucks were extremely crisp on offense as they shot an outstanding 57% from the field.
Time and time again the Bucks were able to gain penetration and get to the cup as they outscored the Clippers 50-36 in points in the paint.
The Clippers will look to regroup as they travel home for their next game against the Detroit Pistons on Monday night.
