Clippers Look To End Losing Streak In Denver
- Updated: November 24, 2015
The Los Angeles Clippers will look to end their losing streak when they take on the Denver Nuggets tonight. Los Angeles started the season strong before their recent rough patch.
For Denver they come into tonight’s game with a 6-8 record. This team parted ways with long time point guard Ty Lawson this offseason as they selected Emmanuel Mudiay with the seventh overall pick. With Lawson out the Nuggets are looking for solid contributions from the often injured Danilo Gallinari.
So far so good for Gallinari. He is leading the team in scoring at 18.1 points per game. The Clippers will need to weary of Gallinari and his shooting touch. He has the ability to get hot and score in bunches.
Los Angeles needs their big three to set up. Chris Paul and Blake Griffin struggled in the team’s latest loss. DeAndre Jordan has continued his strong play on the glass as he is among the league leaders in that category.
With reports surfacing that Kenneth Faried may miss the game Jordan needs to take advantage J.J. Hickson if he is indeed the one to start.
J.J. Redick has had recent success against Nuggets. Whenever you play in Denver people like to talk about the high altitude and the adjustment that needs to take place on the lungs.
Let’s get the win Clippers!
