Clippers Look for 10th Straight Vs. Heat
- Updated: January 13, 2016
The Los Angeles Clippers will look to win their 10th straight game when they take on the Miami Heat on Wednesday at the Staples Center on ESPN.
Los Angeles as played extremely well without Blake Griffin and they look forward to having their leading scorer return some time next week or so. Los Angeles comes into this game with 25-13 record while the Heat sport a 22-16 clip.
Hassan Whiteside is listed as questionable for tonight’s game. He is dealing with a knee injury and did not play in Monday’s night’s game against the Warriors.
DeAndre Jordan is listed as questionable for tonight’s game due to an illness. Miami is lead by Chris Bosh and Dwyane Wade.
Bosh leads the team in scoring having 19.1 points per game. Wade is second on the team averaging 18.5 a night. Both players will most likely represent the Eastern Conference at the All-star game in Toronto.
Wade has been playing at high level so far this year and to much surprise has been able to stay healthy. Miami is known for their defensive presence thanks to Erik Spoelstra and his defensive schemes.
Miami is struggling to figure out the best way to use the talented Goran Dragic. If they want to become a threat in the East they will need to find a way to get him more involved in the offensive end.
