Clippers Ink Wesley Johnson

According to Shams Charania of RealGM.com the Los Angeles Clippers have agreed to a deal with free agent forward Wesley Johnson.

Johnson was the 4th overall selection of the Minnesota TimberWolves back in 2010. Johnson spent 2 seasons with the Wolves before spending a year with the Suns.

The last two seasons Johnson has found his way with the Lakers where he averaged a career high 9.9 points per game.

Johnson most known for his athletic ability and potential has not panned out the way experts believed he would be coming out of the 2010 draft.

The addition of Johnson helps the Clippers relentless pursuit of depth help as their depth issue was exposed in playoffs.

With the additions of Johnson, Paul Pierce,  and Lance Stephenson the Clippers have looked to add to the roster. However, the loss of DeAndre Jordan will be a nightmare Clipper fans will try their best to forget about.

The Clippers are currently looking into adding JaVale McGee to replace Jordan but someone of Jordan’s defensive capability is irresistible at this point.

The Clippers welcome Wesley Johnson to the other side of the locker room. Jordan Farmar made the same move last summer but didn’t pan out to well for him.
