Clippers Host Trail Blazers
- Updated: November 30, 2015
The Los Angeles Clippers will host the Portland Trail Blazers tonight at the Staples Center. The Clippers are coming off a solid win against the Minnesota Timberwolves and will look to build on their two game winning streak.
While the Blazers have gone through a major roster overhaul they are led by Damian Lillard and C.J. McCollum. Lillard who was an all-star last year is currently in the top ten in scoring in the association. His backcourt mate McCollum isn’t too far behind either. He sits in the top twenty.
Chris Paul and J.J. Redick will have their hands full when they square off at Staples. The Clippers are showing encouraging signs after their recent poor stretch. They have won three of their last four and now sit with a 9-8 record.
Expect Blake Griffin to take advantage of mismatches. The Blazers currently are starting Noah Vonleh after Myers Leonard suffered an injury to his shoulder.
These two teams meet just 10 days ago in Portland. The Blazers got solid contribution from Ed Davis off the bench who ended up with 17 points and 15 rebounds.
The Blazers are a respectable team that the Clippers need to be careful against. I expect them to come out strong and revenge the loss they were dealt at the Moda Center.
