The Los Angeles Clippers are now 15-1 when scoring 100 points or more is involved and are just 1-4 when the score stays below that mark. Tonight was no exception. The Clippers beat the Indiana Pacers tonight 103-96.

Doc Rivers told the media tonight, he believes the Clippers have all of the right pieces of the puzzle to make a title run. The confusion came when the Clippers gave up a fifteen lead in the first-half lead and almost conceded a 20-point lead in the last14 minutes.

When asked what happened,

“Defend. That’s how we fix it,” Coach Rivers said when asked to explain what happened. “That’s not that hard. They can do it and they’ve done it. So, they’ve shown they can do it, and they will do it.”

Jamal Crawford returned and put up 18 points, while Blake Griffin had 17 which included a key free throw in the last minutes. DeAndre Jordan finished with 12 points and a season high 19 rebounds, and Chris Paul had eight points and 15 assists.

The Indiana Pacers held tight all game refusing to let the Clippers take off with the game. “C.J. Milesscored a season high 30 points, Lavoy Allen had 14 points and 13 rebounds, and Luis Scola had 12 points and 14 rebounds.”

Coach Frank Vogel said this after:

“Something’s got to change for us to get off to better starts,” Vogel said. “That group is struggling. It’s not clicking.”

The Clippers will look to continue their nine game winning streak on Friday when they take on the Washington Wizards.
