Clippers Fall Again, This Time To TrailBlazers

It was the debut of Damian Lillard time last night, as the Clippers took another L to the not-so-winning Portland TrailBlazers. The game ended 102-91.
Enter Ed Davis, the game changer. He was, as they say, the one-man band, and gave it over to Dame Lillard to continue the rampage. He sunk three-pointer after three-pointer, and quickly closed out the game to give Portland fans a much needed win.
The Clippers were coming off of a loss to the undefeated Golden State Warriors, and their late struggles in the game seemed to be the doom of their loss. Not to mention the turnovers, oh the turnovers (J.J. Redick and Blake Griffin).
Their main issue is their ability to finish games, and Chris Paul admits it. Paul had a very quiet 11 points and 8 assists.
How do they fix this problem? Well, being better down the stretch could help, and executing once they are there.
The Clippers are 6-6, and they have lost the last 6 of their 8 games which is something that will need to be fixed if they want to keep their post season dreams alive.
Doc Rivers isn’t concerned though,
“I know we’re going to be good and I haven’t changed that at all,” Rivers said of his perception of his team. “But we have to play good too. While you’re figuring it out in the West, you’re losing games.
“No one’s going to feel sorry for us; I don’t feel sorry for us,” Rivers said before the game. “The schedule was printed, it came out, this is how it is and you have to go play it. … I don’t think I’ve ever mentioned, ‘Hey guys, this is a back-to-back.’ I just say, ‘We play Portland and this is what we have to do.'”
The Clippers will take on the Toronto Raptors tomorrow at 12:30 pm.
