Clippers Decline Option On Brice Johnson

According to Elliot Teaford of the Orange County Register, the Los Angeles Clippers have declined their third-year team option on forward Brice Johnson.
The #Clippers have declined to pick up the third-year option on Brice Johnson, making him a free agent at the end of 2017-18 season.

Brad Turner of the Los Angeles Times also reported the news.
Clippers declined to pick up 3rd year option on Brice Johnson’s contract, per source. Johnson was due to make $1.5 million next season.

Johnson played his college ball at North Carolina before being selected in the first round of the 2016 NBA Draft. He has played in five games in his two seasons with the club.
