Clippers Can’t Get By Spurs; 125-118

The Los Angeles Clippers weren’t able to beat the San Antonio Spurs tonight as they lost 125-118.
San Antonio Spurs were not prepared to let another game go down the drain, and they gave this one their all. They shot a season high of 64% from the field as well a season high of 37 assists.
At halftime the score was 72-60 in the Spurs favor and they were shooting at 78% while the Clippers were only shooting at 43%.
As for the Clippers, Chris Paul had 25 points and nine assists, Blake Griffin added 22 points and J.J. Redick had 21 for the Clippers.
ESPN.com reports:
“Diaw attempted to take over in the second half with Parker and Manu Ginobili slowed in the second half. He had five points in the third quarter, including a stuttering left-handed scoop as he sailed past the basket for an 85-74 lead with 5:44 left in the third quarter.
Tim Duncan had 21 points and 12 rebounds, Boris Diaw scored 23 points and Manu Ginobili had 19 points and 10 assists for the Spurs (18-11), who had lost three straight home games in overtime.”
