Clippers, Alan Anderson Agree To Terms

@lukemitch24

The Los Angeles Clippers have added veteran swingman Alan Anderson to their roster for the upcoming season after agreeing to a $1.5 million veteran minimum contract on Tuesday.

Anderson appeared in just 13 games last season whilst suiting up for the Washington Wizards, averaging 5 points per game while suffering his fair share of injury woes.

Prior to that, Anderson played at the Barclays Arena for the Brooklyn Nets where he averaged 7.2 and 7.4 points per game in his two seasons there.

It will be hard to see Anderson getting too many minutes at the shooting guard position behind J.J. Redick and Jamal Crawford with Austin Rivers also in the fray so if he is able to match up well defensively at the small forward position, that is where he may be able to come in and help the organization.

Anderson is a 37% shooter from the corner over his career and while his recent numbers are nothing to get too excited about, Anderson adds a little bit of extra depth into the Clippers small forward position.
