Cliff Pennington Moved To 60-Day DL

According to Jeff Fletcher of the Orange County Register the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim have placed infielder Cliff Pennington to the 60-day disabled list.
The Angels placed Soto on the DL with a left knee inflammation. Juan Graterol promoted. Cliff Pennington moved to 60-day DL.

Pedro Moura of the Los Angeles Times also reported the news.
The Angels also moved Cliff Pennington to the 60-day DL. He will begin a rehab assignment Wed., but this means he can’t return before 7/31.

Fletcher reported the timetable for Pennington.
Cliff Pennington will start his rehab assignment on Wednesday. He is now not eligible for about 2 weeks

Pennington has been dealing with a hamstring injury this season. The injury has limited the veteran to just 27 games so far this season.
In his limited action Pennington is hitting .276 with two doubles and one home run. Anaheim is hoping that the time on the DL will help recover for the second half of the season.
