Clayton Stoner Placed On IR

According to Eric Stephens of the Orange County Register the Anaheim Ducks have placed Clayton Stoner on the injury reserve.

The Anaheim Ducks confirmed the news via Twitter.
In addition, #NHLDucks have placed defenseman Clayton Stoner (hip flexor) on Injured Reserve.

Stoner is a former third round pick of the Minnesota Wild back in 2004. He spent the first five years of his NHL career with the Wild before joining the Ducks last season.
So far this season Stoner has played in 35 games notching four points, 1 goal and 3 assists. He is averaging 15:10 minutes of ice time a game.
Reports have surfaced that Stoner has been dealing with this injury for quite some time and then time off should him it recover.
Anaheim is coming off 3-2 loss to their rival Los Angeles Kings last night.
