Clayton Richard To Undergo Arthroscopic Surgery

According to Kevin Acee of the San Diego Union-Tribune, San Diego Padres pitcher Clayton Richard will undergo arthroscopic surgery on both knees.
Clayton Richard out rest of season. On way to Colorado to have surgery. Issue first surfaced in April. He could pitch through it. #Padres made decision to remove him from rotation, then all parties decided best to have surgery at this time rather than wait until after season.

Richard has spent eight years of his career with the club. This season he has posted a 7-11 record with a 5.33 ERA.
