Clayton Kershaw “Shut Down” Until Back Heals

According to Alanna Rizzo of Dodgers.com, Los Angeles Dodgers ace Clayton Kershaw will be shut down until the pain in his back goes away.

Bill Plunkett of the Orange County Register reported further details on the situation.
Roberts said Clayton Kershaw hasn’t picked up a baseball since Sat, won’t until back pain subsides. Will get another exam in next day or 2

Brett Anderson of the Dodgers provided some humor on the situation.

Kershaw has not pitched since mid June due to the back issue. Los Angeles has managed to stay above water without their ace but they are certainly looking forward to his return.
