According to Tim MacMahon of ESPN.com, Houston Rockets point guard Chris Paul has been ruled out against the Los Angeles Clippers are Friday night.
Chris Paul on being hurt: “It’s tough, and it’s not just about playing against the Clippers. It’s the way that we’ve been building and getting back out there. And I love to hoop more than anything. That’s my happy place. It’s tough, it’s tough.”

Paul spent time with the Charlotte Hornets and Clippers before joining the Rockets this summer. Paul and James Harden have played well together this year but Paul has been limited to just 16 games.
His usage rate is at a career low and is averaging 17.1 points and 9.0 assists per game. Paul was looking forward to playing his former team but the injury will force him out. The Clippers have injuries of their own with Blake Griffin, Patrick Beverly, and Danilo Gallinari all out with injuries.
