Chris Paul Leads Clippers To Win In Windy City 96-86

Chris Paul led the Los Angeles Clippers to another impressive road victory as they beat the Chicago Bulls 96-86 this afternoon. Coming off a strong DeAndre Jordan Lifts Clippers Over Grizzlies 97-79″ href=”http://www.calisportsnews.com/deandre-jordan-lifts-clippers-over-grizzlies-98-79/”>win against the Grizzlies on Friday night the Clippers traveled to the Windy City and took care of business.
Paul scored 28 points and dished out 12 assist in the victory. DeAndre Jordan continued his monster rebounding effort collecting yet another 20+ rebound performance. Jordan had 9 points in 26 rebounds. Spencer Hawes played well tonight as well. He added 14 points and nine rebounds including two three pointers.
Jamal Crawford struggled shooting the ball from the field going just 6/18 but added 15 points off the bench.
For the Bulls who were already without Derrick Rose, they loss Jimmy Butler to a elbow strain in the game and he did not return. Butler scored 10 points in 22 minutes.
Pau Gasol struggled from the field shooting just 2/13 from the field. He did grab 15 rebounds but scored just 4 points.
Nikola Mirotic had a career night for the Bulls. He scored 29 points and grabbed 9 rebounds for his squad but it wasn’t enough for the victory.
With the game tied at 69 heading into the fourth quarter the Clippers defense stepped up and was too much for the Bulls to handle. The Clippers outscored the Bulls 27-17 in the quarter as they attempted to intentionally foul DeAndre Jordan to stop the Clipper offense and it did not prevail.
The Clippers will travel to Minnesota as they take on the TimberWolves tomorrow. Today’s win pushing the Clipper streak to 2 in a row, 6 out of of the last 8.
