Chris Paul Leads Clippers To Big Road Win Over Blazers

Chris Paul scored 41 points to lead the Los Angeles Clippers to a big road win in Portland Wednesday night. After a tough loss to the Warriors last night that snapped the Clips 7 game winning streak, the Clippers were on the road in Portland.
After trailing most of the game, Chris Paul turned it on in the fourth quarter and lead the Clippers to a 41-30 advantage and the victory. To go along with his 41 points Paul also had 17 assists and 4 steals.
J.J. Redick had 25 points and 8 rebounds including 5 three pointers, while Blake Griffin had 24 points, 8 assists, and 7 rebounds. DeAndre Jordan also reached double-digits as he scored 13 points and had 13 rebounds.
For the Blazers, LaMarcus Aldridge lead the way with 29 points, while Nicolas Batum scored 21 points. Damien Lillard had a solid game with 18 points and 10 assists. Arron Afflalo (14) and C.J. McCollum (13) reached double figures as well.
Both teams shot extremely well from behind the arch tonight. The Clippers connected on 15/28 threes, while the Blazers connected on 13/25. The fourth quarter offensive execution for the Clippers was the difference maker in tonight’s game.
With the win the Clippers improve to 50-26 on the year. They will take on the Denver Nuggets on the road on Saturday night.
