Chris Paul Expected To Miss 6-8 Weeks

@BR_NBA

According to Sam Amick of USA Today, Los Angeles Clippers point guard Chris Paul is expected to miss six to eight weeks with a torn ligament in left thumb.

Rowan Kavner of Clippers.com also reported the news.

For the Clippers who are a perfect 7-0 in the New Year this is a massive blow. Superstar Blake Griffin is already out with an injury of his own and with Paul out they will need some of their reserves to step up.

Austin Rivers, Raymond Felton and some of the other Clippers players will need to lead the offense. This injury also affects big man DeAndre Jordan. Jordan is the major beneficiary of Chris Paul’s masterpiece and now he will have to take the lead on and off the court.
