Chone Figgins Retires a Halo

According to Jeff Fletcher of the Orange County Register the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim have signed Chone Figgins to a one-day contract so that he can retire he as Halo.
The Angels announced they will sign Chone Figgins to a one-day contract on Monday, so he can retire as an Angel.

Jon Heyman of the MLB Network also reported the news.

Figgins is a former fourth round pick of the Colorado Rockies back in the 1997 MLB Draft. Figgins spent 8 of his 12 year career with the Halos. He also spent time with the Seattle Mariners and Los Angeles Dodgers.
Figgins ends his career with 341 stolen bases with his highest season number coming in 2007 when he stole 62 bases. Happy retirement Chone Figgins!
