DeAndre Jordan will look to impose his will defensively against the talented Bulls bigs. Pau Gasol has been playing excellent basketball thus far this season and the Clippers will need to find a way to slow him down.
The Bulls are coming off a loss to the Indiana Pacers. The Pacers are down most of their players due to injury but were able to beat the Bulls 99-90 on Saturday night. Bulls star Derrick Rose did not play Saturday due to some lingering injuries and his status for tonight’s game is uncertain.
Derrick Rose has a great past of performances against the Clippers as he is averaging almost 32 points and 12 dimes against them. However, Rose as not faced the Clippers since 2011…
Jimmy Butler put together a strong game last time out. The Marquette product scored 32 points and grabbed 6 boards in the loss. With the Clippers struggling to find consistency at the wing spot, Butler should look to take advantage of the Clipper weakness.
If Derrick Rose does play it will be a great battle of point guards. Chris Paul is known as the best point guard in the league and when healthy Rose is right up there as well.
Chris Paul was last week’s Lob city MVP. Click here to read about his performance.
