Chargers Working On Extension For Keenan Allen

@spot_chargers

According to Michael Gehlken of the San Diego Union Tribune the San Diego Chargers are working on a contract extension with top wide receiver Keenan Allen.

Allen is entering the final year of his rookie contract after being drafted in the third round of the 2013 NFL Draft. Allen was one of the league’s best receivers in 2015 before getting injured.

He made 67 catches for 725 yards and four touchdowns before going down with a  kidney laceration. With Allen Hurns receiving a four-year 40 million dollar contract last week with the Jags it makes sense that Allen’s contract with the Chargers should exceed that.

With the Chargers Allen set numerous rookie receiver records and will be a major part of the offense next season. As more information surfaces on the Chargers and their offseason news we will keep you up to date.
