Chargers Waive Andre Williams

According to Michael Gehlken of the San Diego Union Tribune, the San Diego Chargers have waived running back Andre Williams.
Chargers waived RB Andre Williams, team announced. Move created room for practice-squad promotion of TE Asante Cleveland.

Williams is a former fourth round pick of the New York Giants in the 2014 NFL Draft. He spent two years with the club before joining the Chargers this offseason.
Williams best season was in his rookie year where he rushed 200 plus times for over 700 yards. He also rushed for 7 touchdowns.
