Chargers Take On Baltimore Ravens Game Preview 11/1
- Updated: November 1, 2015
The San Diego Chargers (2-5) travel to Baltimore to take on the Ravens (1-6) in an attempt to save their season. Both teams are on four game losing streaks and as the losing continues the chances of making the playoffs dwindles.
Today’s game should be a shootout due to the lack of defense from both teams. Philip Rivers and Joe Flacco have been at the helm of their teams offenses for a long time and they both have been asked to do a ton of work.
Rivers currently leads the NFL in passing yards with 2,452 yards which has him on pace to break Peyton Manning‘s NFL record.
Keenan Allen has benefited from the Chargers tenacities to throw the ball more. He currently leads the league with 62 receptions.
The Ravens on the other hand in the bottom of the league in points allowed per game giving up almost 27 a night. Since the club is usually down early Falco is forced to air it out and he is currently averaging 40+ passing attempts a game. He is in the top 5 in passing attempts in the NFL.
Former Carolina Panther Steve Smith Sr. is averaging nearly 100 receiving yards a game, look for him to have a big game.
For the Ravens every loss they have had has been close. They have loss each of their games by 8 points or less which may make it worst for their fans.
Hopefully the Chargers can right the ship. Go Chargers!
