Chargers Stay Hot, Beat Cincinnati, 26-21

It was another great win for the Los Angeles Chargers as they beat the Cincinnati Bengals 26-21.

The Chargers star of the game was Kicker Mike Badgley. Badgley was a perfect 4 for 4 on field goals, connecting from 59, 31, 32 and 45 yards. After jumping out to an early lead, the Chargers were able to maintain the lead throughout the game, only allowing the Bengals to pull within two points.

Philip Rivers went 19 of 29 for 220 yards and a touchdown pass. This was the first time this season that Rivers did not throw for multiple touchdowns passes this season. Austin Ekeler rushed for 66 yards and a touchdown to lead the team on the ground but reaggravating a neck injury. He will be reevaluated for his status for the Thursday Night matchup with Kansas City.

The Chargers are now 10-3 and have a stronghold on the AFC’s top Wild Card spot. The Kansas City Chiefs are the next opponent for the Bolts on Thursday. A short week and the battle for the Divisional lead is at stake. Kansas City had to work overtime to beat the Baltimore Ravens, 27-24. The Chargers are on a 9 game losing streak against the Chiefs.

This is the most important game of the season, Los Angeles is  looking for the goal of winning the division, this game is the difference between the title and the Wild Card.
