Chargers Sign Travis Benjamin

According to Rand Getlin of NFL Network the San Diego Chargers have signed free agent wide receiver Travis Benjamin.
I’m told WR Travis Benjamin plans to sign with the #Chargers when the market officially opens tomorrow. San Diego gets a dangerous weapon.

Getlin reported further information about the move.
To be clear on Travis Benjamin, there was a ton of interest in the market for him (as there should’ve been). Fresh off his best season ever.

Getlin reported that Benjamin is coming off his best season as a pro.
When he finally got a chance to flourish during his last season in Cleveland, Benjamin responded with 966 yards receiving, 324 on returns.

The speedy wideout will most likely handle punt return and kick return duties as well. Adding Benjamin will give Philip Rivers another target to throw to, a especially a deep threat.
