Chargers Sign Matt Slauson

According to Adam Caplan of NFL Insiders the San Diego Chargers have signed former Chicago Bears offensive lineman Matt Slauson to a two-year deal.
Matt Slauson agreed to terms on a 2-year deal with the #Chargers, source said.

Micheal Gehlken of the San Diego Union Tribune also reported the news.

Other teams like the Buffalo Bills were interested in Slauson’s services. Gehlken reported news about the recruitment process as well.
Former Bears C/G Matt Slauson left his Bills visit without a deal done. Chargers remain very much in the mix, source said.

Slauson spent three years with the Chicago and was cut last month. Reports surfaced that Slauson will compete for the starting center position along with rookie Max Tuerk.
