Chargers Request To Interview Sean McDermott

According to Micheal Gehlken of the San Diego Union Tribune, the San Diego Chargers have requested to interview Carolina Panthers defensive coordinator Sean McDermott.
Chargers hope to interview Panthers DC Sean McDermott, source confirms. Make it four def. coordinators, one ST in known consideration.

McDermott has been in the NFL since 1999 when he started as a scouting administrative coordinator for the Philadelphia Eagles. He was with the club until 2010 working his way up the ladder becoming their defensive coordinator.
McDermott joined Ron Rivera and the Carolina Panthers in 2011 as their defensive coordinator. McDermott interviewed with the Buffalo Bills yesterday.
