Chargers Request Interview With Dave Toub

According to Adam Schefter of ESPN.com, the San Diego Chargers have requested a head coaching interview with Kansas City Chiefs defensive coordinator Dave Toub.
Chargers requested permission for HC interview with Chiefs ST coach Dave Toub, per source. They are not only team expected to interview him.

Ian Rapoport of NFL.com shared more information on the news.
#Chiefs special teams coach Dave Toub will interview with the #Broncos on Friday and then he has the #Chargers on Sunday, source said.

I can confirm, per a source, that the San Diego Chargers have requested and been granted permission to speak to ST coach Dave Toub. Smart.

Toub is a former ninth round pick of the 1985 NFL Draft. He spent time with the Philadelphia Eagles and Los Angeles Rams as a player.
Toub began his coaching career at the University of Texas-El Paso before moving on the University of Missouri. Toub began his NFL coaching career in 2001 with the Eagles as a special teams coach.
He then went on to the Chicago Bears where he spent eight seasons as a special teams coordinator. Toub has been with the Chiefs since 2013 and is highly respected around the league.
