Of all the losses this season, this one was the most surprising as the Chargers lose a close one to the Kansas City Chiefs, 24-17.
Philip Rivers had one of the worst games of his career, throwing four interceptions as the Kansas City Chiefs defense played their best. Rivers threw two crucial interceptions in the fourth quarter.
The Chargers battled the Chiefs but weren’t able to nothing in the final period. Rivers had a season-high in pass attempts (52), completing 28 for 353 yards and one touchdown pass to Keenan Allen to pull the team within seven points late in the third quarter.
The Chargers are now 4-7, just one game above the last place Denver Broncos who they will face on December 1, after their bye week. The Broncos are coming off a loss to the Minnesota Vikings 27-23. Denver blew a 23-7 lead in the fourth.
