Chargers Ink Brandon Mebane

According to Ian Rapport of NFL.com the San Diego Chargers have signed former Seattle Seahawks DT Brandon Mebane.

Field Yates of ESPN.com also reported the news.
The 3-year deal Brandon Mebane signed with the Chargers is worth up to $13.5M, with $5.5M guaranteed.

Gehlken added some details to the signing.
Brandon Mebane, 31, has 125 career starts in 9-year career. All with Seahawks. He’s relatively local (hopefully not too local). LA native.

Mebane is a former third round pick of the Seahawks in the 2007 NFL Draft. Last season he played and started in 15 games. He had 14 tackles to go along with 1.5 sacks.
