Hillman is a former third round pick of the Broncos back in the 2012 NFL Draft. Hillman had spent his entire career with the Broncos winning the Superbowl with the club last season.
He also had his strongest season as a pro last season as well. He rushed 207 times for a career high 863 yards and 7 touchdowns. He added 24 receptions for 111 receiving yards.
After the loss of Danny Woodhead to a torn ACL San Diego went out and signed Dexter McCluster but could still be interested in the services of Hillman.
