Chargers Drop To 0-4 With Loss To Eagles

The Los Angeles Chargers fell to 0-4 with yet another loss to the Philadelphia Eagles 26-24. With the loss, the struggles continue for the Chargers in their new home.
The offense got started in the 1st quarter when Carson Wentz connected with Alshon Jeffery for an 8-yard touchdown. Later in the quarter, Jake Elliott hit a 45-yard field goal that pushed the lead to 10-0.
Elliott hit another 40-yard field in the 2nd quarter that pushed the lead to 13-0. 10 seconds later Philip Rivers connected with Tyrell Williams for a 75-yard touchdown. Elliott hit a 53-yard field goal to push the lead to 16-7.
Younghoe Koo hit a 28-yard field goal as the half expired and the Chargers trailed 16-10. Elliot hit another field goal in the 3rd quarter. Austin Ekeler rushed for a 35-yard touchdown to trim the lead to 19-17.
Wendell Smallwood rushed up the middle for a 3-yard touchdown to push the lead to 26-17. Rivers answered back with a touchdown pass with Hunter Henry and the Chargers fell 26-24.
