Chargers dominate Washington, 30-13

The 30-13 win over the Washington Redskins now gives the Los Angeles Chargers their longest winning streak of the season.

Philip Rivers passed for 319 yards and two touchdowns to lead the team back into playoff contention. Rivers also passed Hall Of Famer Warren Moon for ninth place on the NFL’s all-time passing list, with 43,444 career yards. Tyrell Williams turned in his best game of the season with only four catches for 132 yards and a 75-yard touchdown pass in the second quarter. Keenan Allen had another 100-yard receiving performance, his sixth of the season and fourth straight, with 111 yards.

Travis Coons added three more field goals to remain a perfect seven-for-seven for the season since joining the team. The Chargers completely manhandled Washington in every stage of this game, while compiling almost 500- yards of total offense.

NEXT UP FOR THE BOLTS:

The Chargers (7-6), will face the Kansas City Chiefs in Missouri for the most important game of the season. Both Kansas City and Los Angeles are tied on top of the AFC West. The Chiefs hold the tie-breaker this season with the 24-10 win over the Chargers in week three. With the playoffs approaching, the final three games will be very crucial for the Chargers.
