According to Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle the San Diego Chargers have waived strong safety Jimmy Wilson.

In March, Chargers signed S Jimmy Wilson to two-year, $4.25M deal. Today, days before ex-Dolphin faced former team, he was waived.

Wilson was drafted in the 7th round of the NFL draft to the Miami Dolphins back in 2011. This was his first season with the club before he was waived.
Wilson has played in all 13 games this year starting in eight of them. He also has one interception.
