Chargers Back On Top of the AFC West, Beat Cleveland 19-10

Chargers

After a dismal 0-4 start, the Los Angeles Chargers are back in the playoff hunt with a 19-10 win over the winless Cleveland Browns.
Now Los Angeles shares the lead in the AFC West with Kansas City and Oakland and is now the hottest team in the NFL.

Backup Kicker Travis Coons made his debut with four field goals to help propel the win. Philip Rivers passed for 344 yards, completing 31 of 43 and a touchdown pass to Keenan Allen. Los Angeles defense managed to keep the Browns running game to under 100 yards rushing. Cleveland’s Josh Gordon had four catches for 84 yards, playing in his first game since 2014. Many people were unsure if Gordon would ever get back in the league after his off the field issues.

NEXT UP FOR THE CHARGERS:

Los Angeles (6-6), will be at home next Sunday afternoon to face the Washington Redskins, before the critical showdown in Kansas City with the Chiefs. These next few weeks are vital for the Bolts as the push for a playoff spot after missing out the last few seasons.
