Chargers Add Joe Mays

According to Adam Caplan of ESPN NFL Insiders the San Diego Chargers have added veteran linebacker Joe Mays.
With #Chargers dealing with injuries at ILB, source said team is expected to sign veteran ILB Joe Mays.

Michael Gehlken of the San Diego Union Tribune also reported the news.

The Chargers needed to add depth help after injuries to Denzel Perryman and Manti Te’o. Gehlken confirms the reasoning behind the signing.

Mays is a former 6th round pick of the Philadelphia Eagles in the 2008 NFL draft. He played his college ball at North Dakota State.
He has spent time on the Eagles, Broncos, Texans, and Chiefs throughout his career.
