And then this:
Given complexities of the Joe Johnson talks, sources say Cavs looking into the prospect of a simpler deal headlined by Crawford and Haywood

The news comes after reports that the Cavs have refocused their efforts on Jamal Crawford instead of taking on Johnson’s huge contract. He is reliable and teams know that they can bring him off of the bench to score effectively.
CBSSports.com reports the following on the situation:
“For the Clippers with their acquisition of Lance Stephenson, Jamal Crawford has become expendable. If they do complete this trade, expect the Clippers to waive Brendan Haywood, which will give them cap space to pursue another center like JaVale McGee. The Clippers have already expressed interest in McGee, especially since DeAndre Jordan left in free agency.
With LeBron Jameswaiting to see what the Cavs do before re-signing, Cleveland has been spending a lot this offseason. This trade could save them some money while bringing in an experienced scorer in Crawford.”
We will have to wait to see how this one plays out Clippers fans.
