Carl Crawford Suffering From Back Issue

ANAHEIM, Ca- According to Alana Rizzo of Dodgers.com, Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Carl Crawford is dealing with stiffness in his back that caused him to miss last night’s contest.

J.P. Hoornstra of the Los Angeles News Group also reported the news.
Scott Van Slyke is starting against right-hander Garrett Richards because Carl Crawford has a stiff back. He “should be” available today.

Crawford missed a majority of the season earlier in the year due to lingering injuries and that him not playing last night was just a precautionary measure.
The Dodgers have the day off today before taking on the Arizona Diamondbacks on Friday night. With the Dodgers one of the hottest teams in baseball the Magic number is 15 as the San Francisco Giants also loss last night.
