Wilson was a 5th round pick of the Texas Rangers in the 2001 MLB Draft. He spent 7 years with the Angels before joining the Angels in 2012. Wilson made the All-Star team his first year with the Angels and was producing for the club until his recent string of injuries.
He has not pitched at all in 2016 and was limited to 21 starts in 2015. In 2015 he posted a 8-8 record with a 3.89 ERA in 132 innings of work.
For Wilson he will become a free agent this winter and it will be interesting to see who is interested in the left handed pitcher.
